Waterloo Gryphons....


Yeah, this goes back a couple of years (2002 or 2003?). I miss those days of travel hockey. It was fun!

Don't let Paul fool you....he should have been penalized a LOT of times for things that he did...but they didn't have another goalie, so he usually got a warning.

the "best warning" was in rochester BEFORE the game. lol. i guess you would have had to have been there.... :)

yes, well behaved. well, maybe we didn't (ever) win a sportsmanship trophy, but we won a lot of games.

the best warning came from a referee at a tournament in rochester before the game even started. he came down to me and said "i don't give a f*ck if you ARE their only goalie, if you get in a fight here, you're out". (there had been a minor altercation a week before at a home game when an opposing player slashed my hand several times after the whistle. it didn't set very well with me.)

i didn't overexert myself today. someone you know fed me beers after the race yesterday and i was kinda pooped today. :)
