Kinda Cool this Morning....
-11F. I came into work before reporting for jury duty this morning. It's freaking cold outside. It doesn't appear that we got the horrible blizzard that we were told to expect. It was windy last night, for sure, and we had a few inches of light, powdery snow, but the "out of town" folks seem to be here this morning so it must not be as bad as expected. I'm not complaining. The VW started right up and got me to work without any problem, so it must be good! Ah well. It is winter in Iowa! What can I say?
Anyway, I need to talk to The Jackal for a minute then head downtown to the courthouse.

This morning on the way to work it was 65 degrees... oh, winter in AZ. Don't worry, you can rub it in this summer when it is 110 here.

It's funny. This weekend it is supposed to be in the 30's and we'll be running around with coats open and no hats.
It doesn't take long before you get acclimated.
Shoulda ridden your bike to jury duty. You'd have been home already, dismissed as a raving lunatic by the uninitiated.
