Iowa....

This is Iowa, folks. It sometimes snows here in the wintertime. After a week of dry pavement you all seem to forget how to drive when we get a couple of inches of new snow. Take a deep breath, slow down a little, and pay attention to your driving. If the professional drivers in the semis are driving 45 mph on the highway, perhaps you should consider that there may be a reason for it.

That being said....

It looks like it might be decent for xc skiing or snowshoeing again. :) I like that.

I've been putting in some time on the trainer and my bottom is used to the saddle again. That's a good thing!

Anyway, the temps are up into the bearable range again. Actually, 25-30F is downright nice for outdoor winter activities. Sweet! A little more snow is forecast for the next few days. Possibly some drizzle. We'll see....

Ride safe.

Peace out, yo!

Meh! Skip the drizzle and I am good. I am hoping to go skiing a time or two again, but I really, really need some longer rides to start happening.

If the weather is decent on Sunday I sure hope to get out there and do some long gravel - come on out.
Let's see what is decent? about 20 degrees little wind and ahhhh very little snow. Looks like we could have all of the above.
More to come

our snow is crap right now, so no skiing. it has been just crusty and icy enough to twart any attempts at cycling too.
guess the basement is my only option. did upgrade the cross bike to sram force this week! looking forward to getting out and breaking it in.
have fun in the snow!
