Texas....

I lived in Texas for a couple of years in the mid 70's and I believe this to be true....

Ride safe.

Peace out, yo!

Now that's funny, we may need to start measuring snow like that up here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire so we can feel like we're getting some real storms!

Cheers,

I would strongly recommend you NOT snorting that line. You'd surely get a brain freeze.

i soooooo want to get back to texas. just to visit. i want to go to hook 'ems in austin and drink some beer!

new hampshire is on my list too. 5000 feet of climbing in 30 miles scares me a little, but hey....

rob.... nahhhhhh. that stuff would definitely freeze my brain!

peace out, yo!

Blue, those Ergon grips are starting to attack the Chicagoland area. I sold a pair to a guy and he came back and ordered 3 more pairs. Once you get them hooked on Ergons they don't go back. I just built up my Rivendell Quickbeam and it rides dreamy. I also wanted to ask you on suggestions for a good Cable actuated Disc brake system. I was thinking about the AVid bb-7. I am building a Gunnar 29er for a customer and need some opinions.

Ari, my two cents is the BB7's are great my wife haas those on her Prophet and never had a problem. There also dummy proof and wicked easy to adjust, just turn the dial. I had a set of mechanical Hayes on a bike a few years ago and they were terrible, they'd work fine and all of a sudden you'd have nothing and you had to carry an allen wrench to adjust. Uugh.

Blue, you don't have to climb 5000 in 30 miles, just go to the local breweries we have here drink some beer and tell people you climbed that much.

ari.... i can't say enough good things about the ergons. i love them!
i have bb7's on my stumpjumper and bb5's on the surly. both are excellent mechanical disc brakes. the bb7's have a little more adjustability but you can buy the 5's dirt cheap. both are a great value.

steak sauce... i like the way you think! beer is good! what did chris say? don't let the truth get in the way of a good story? :)

peace out, yo!
