Big Dummy....
Jason rolling The Dummy....
BIG!
BIG!
The Thin Man wastes no time in bike building. When we stopped by the shop on Sunday it was simply a frame and fork on the counter. By Wednesday it was a built up bike.... Pretty sweet, eh? Can you say "cooler full of Guinness"? I can see it!
I hope all is well with everyone today. It's 36F here this morning and it feels great! The streets are a bit slick but all will be well soon. Little Jake is in Iowa City this morning to have his halo removed. He was pretty excited last night when I saw him. Sweet!
That's it for now.
Ride safe.
Peace out, yo!

Yay Jake! That's awesome news.
Can't wait to see how the area looks after my spring break trip. Hopefully this mess will be long gone.
CF/W is a market for those bikes. If they made them in a 700c version, it would be the official bike of that one ride in July that crosses the state and involves lots of beer and other toxic beverages.
I have never seen a bike like that before.

I am jealous... although, maybe just because it's a Surly and my Xtracycle is attached to an old Gee-ant [yeah, a Giant]...
Hope everything goes well down in IC for Jake!
Very cool. Does that bike require a guy in the back to help it turn around sharp corners? :^)
It's definitely a grocery-getter, but we all know who's carry the beer from now on!
I am really happy for the little guy. Post some pixs of him when he is well.
The Surly is a serious machine and I think it would be worth for a lot of people to have one around. Some crazy guys have gone from Alaska to Argentina on those bikes. They are really well built, like a lot of Surly stuff.
Let's Ride,
Ari
kerkove has the right idea. the thin man can market those things with slicks to "that crowd" this summer. it's all good!
thanks for your thoughts and prayers for little jake. he's doing great! he stuck his tongue out at kyle when he got home so everything is good! :)
The Big Dummy looks great. Love that color. I can see getting one in the next couple years. After the 29er, and then maybe after a SS road bike...
