Saturday morning....

38 F in Waterloo this morning when I came into the plant. I think it's about 40 now. Like Chris says, it will soon be time for pics of the bank and chamber thermometers. Oh yeah!

I have to write a performance evaluation for one of my managers this morning, then I think I'll go ride my bike. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend. 72 F is forecast for today.

Ride safe.

Peace out, yo!

Hey Blue, since I am out in the cornfields can you give me a rundown of how your surly is built. Namely Gearing and tires. I am doing some gravel riding and am putting some Moose mitts for the winter. I am riding a VOODoo cycles Nzumbi singlespeed.
Ari from Chicago,
enjoy the warmth while it lasts.

chris....

the winter gear is always ready :)

ari....

i run 2.1 mythos xc tires. they are really good on gravel and they wear well. i have over 2000 miles on them and they still have quite a bit of tread. normal gearing is 34 x 17, which works great around here. i also have 18t and 20t freewhels but rarely use them.

Thanks Blue I will post a photo of the Voo doo as soon as I am done with it. I was thinking of a 2to1 gearing and it seems to be the one you are running.
Thanks.
Ari
