Can't buy this at the store....

What do you do if it's colder than the dickens outside and you can't put a hat on over your halo? Go without? Freeze your ears off? Stay indoors? Nooooooooooooooooo...............

All smiles....
Posin'......
If you're really lucky, Judy makes a hat for you that goes on around your halo.....
She saw a need and headed to the fabric store. A couple of hours later the young man had a custom made winter hat that fits perfectly! An idea, a little material, some velcro, some elastic, and a sewing machine gets you one insulated winter cap in short order. You can see the look on Little Jake's face.... Happier than a pig in poop. Thanks, Jude.
I think it got up to 3 degrees F. today. I am sooooo ready for warmer weather! This is for the birds! I was able to "comfortably" ride through the last two winters, but this one.... Well, it ain't happenin' this year!!! To top it off we have another 3-6 inches of snow forecast for tonight. Southern Missouri is sounding better all the time!
That's all for now. Stay warm!
Ride safe.
Peace out, yo!

Blue: Awesome job on the hat, my compliments to the seamstress.

Missouri, eh? Think about the accent you'd end up aquiring. Not a pretty picture!

It won't be long now, March is almost here. I'm afraid it'll all melt at once and we'll end up flooded, but at least we can ride the roads, right?

thanks chris. brother of jackal has asked for one and i'd wear one.... oh yeah! i don't think judy will be making them for us though....

john....

i will have the great pleasure of taking care of ms. rhea saturday while jackal, amy, and judy all work. should be a workout in and of itself. that girl has energy! thanks for the invite, though. :)

g-ted....

i'll pass your compliments on to the mrs.

i hadn't thought about the accent. that could be a problem. the locals would think i was from there and you wouldn't be able to read my writing. i did survive two years in texas back in the mid 70's. i'm not sure i've ever gotten over that.

there will be roads to ride if it floods but some of the good roads flood too.... i replaced the bb on the surly after riding the east lake trail when it was underwater last year. grrrrrrr......
