What can I say....
Rollin' into Cedar Falls....
Good ride....
Good ride....
7 of us took off from The Thin Man's shop at 6:15 this evening and headed to Finchford. The temps weren't bad and the wind wasn't killer. A nice evening for a ride.
I should be in bed but I had to watch the TT from the Tour. Pretty impressive.
If anyone local happens to see a big burgandy Chevy pickup that sits high off the ground and makes a lot of noise, which also has a pair of chrome "bumper balls" hanging from the hitch and a large sticker in the rear window that says "sledneck", please get the license plate number and give it to Brent or myself. Thanks.
That's it for now.
Ride safe.
Peace out, yo!

Dude - don't leave us hanging like that. Good to see you in the group.
Getting ready for next year's TTT?
John
Sorry you've having more trouble with disrespectful driver's....
as you say, :Ride Safe:
Yeah, I hope you guys all stay safe!
Bumper balls, eh? Just about guarantees a person driving that's unfriendly to cyclists.
I'll be on the lookout.
The "sledneck" sticker really seems redundant, don't you think? :^)
The tour has been great so far. Allez Cadel!
I'm waiting to find out what all the fuss is with this chrome balls trucker. Probably a case of big balls on the bumper and little ones in the cab.
I had a flat once and forgot a tube. The only one to give a dude with a shouldered bike a ride was a redneck in a big pickup with a giant "deerslayer" decal on the back. Remember, they are not ALL bad.
john....
the ttt does interest me. it looks like an absolute blast!
lily....
some people's kids.... sheesh!
g-ted....
at least they were chromed and not the gnarly, hairy, fleshy looking things.
oldman....
the tour is great! i love the "non-prologue format"
fat cat....
i know they aren't all bad. i have one son and 2 brothers who are about as "redneck" as one can get and i love 'em to death. they're good people. i just want to talk to the guy in the truck.
