The weatherman says 8F outside right now. I stopped to get gas ($1.72 per gallon at Kwik Star) because I'm driving to Cedar Rapids this morning. It is definitely cold out there. NWS says to expect a mild winter in the midwest this year. I'm good with that!
Psychlofest in Bettendorf tomorrow. Expect snow flurries, then a high of 43F. Middle Park Madness on Sunday. Expect a high of 50F. Yeah, Baby.

Are you racing both events? If so, good luck; at least the weather there sounds promising.
Not sure about that mild winter; we are seeing a little snow every night and the lakeshore has 10 inches of the stuff in places!

not the kit i'd be wanting to wear this time of year. it was at a mtn bike race in minnesota a couple of years ago. strange people up there. lol.

that was actually a "community" kit. 4 of them wore it. they swapped it after each lap and gave it to the next guy. it was pretty funky by 6 o'clock on saturday evening. hot, humid..... nasty.

i'm not sure if i'll do both saturday and sunday or not. i'd like to but jingle cross is next weekend plus i have some work that needs to be done around here. the weather sounds like it's gonna be great!
