When Surlys and Colnagos mate you get the Joe Pesci of bikes, a pissed off ugly Italian! Ciao! ('cept that's a sweet bike, I'm just sayin'...what if)

I think you get a nasty wine (think PBR) drinking Italian with handlebar mustache and cut off jeans (Mooch from Breaking Away?). And the bike would be called a Surnago.

Nice lookin' rig there Blue!

I would caution you against using the term "ass nirvana" though, as I think Mr. 24 has that trade marked for a future endeavor he may undertake called "AssFat Saddles"

Just lookin' out for ya there buddy! ;-)

Very sweet. All the good chi-chi on that machine.
I have been thinking of going to a single in the front. Works for racing, but maybe limits gravel grinds a bit.
Very cool. Hope you get out and ride that monster this weekend!

capn, lily....
thanks guys! i'll keep it in mind the next time i'm looking to build a new bike. ;)

andy....
you should be making commercials for some big-time marketing department. a cross between mooch and that guy from kelly's heros.... good stuff!

g-ted....
i appreciate you looking out for me! kerkove is gonna market saddles for fat asses? i think john deere had those on the old "b" model, eh? anyway, tell kerkove i'll be the tester. :)

oldman....
thanks, buddy!

it's snowing here and it's headed your way.

the single hasn't been a problem on the gravel for me because i never ride fast enough to use the big ring anyway. when that stoopid rottweiler on leversee road comes after me i just stop and put the bike between me and the damned dog. i couldn't outrun it even if i had a big ring. a big ring would be nice when you decide to take the cx bike on the group road ride but i usually get dropped anyway and just tool along enjoying the scenery. :)
