Cool, and wet.... :)

61F in Hudson today....
Sprinkles.... LOL.
Wet bike path....
Crossing the Ansborough bridge....
It was actually sorta nice on my ride this afternoon. Off and on showers with cooler temps. Not bad at all.... The wind sucks though. The 'puter says 15 to 25 out of the NW. I think they're right on that call. It's definitely windy.
I'd like to thank all of the drivers that give bicycles room out on the road. You're doing your part to make it a bit safer for all of us. I had quite a few positive experiences with good drivers this weekend. Sweet!
I'd also like to mention to the assholes who either find it funny to pass without giving any room or just don't believe that bikes belong on the road and do their part to let you know how they feel..... You can bet that some other asshole just like you is doing the same thing to your kids or grandkids when they are riding in the street. Think about that the next time you decide to play chicken with a cyclist. Put down your coffee, hang up your cell phone, and get a grip. Bicycles aren't going away anytime soon. Live with it.
Oh yeah, that makes me feel much better. :)
Ride safe.
Peace out, yo!

Great photo's from your last few posts.

It was rainy & VERY humid here today, it felt as though I was running through soup...

yesterday was humid here. mid 70's and quite sticky (and a bit of rain). today was nice, considering the rain and all.
i know what you mean about feeling like you're running through soup. or syrup. :)

You must be training for cross season going out in all that bad weather!
I rode last night for the first time since last week and it was cold. Dry, but cold. And the damn sun is going down too soon already too!
Keep up the good work!

now that's a job i wouldn't want, but thanks for the nomination. :) i'm afraid that i'd polarize the entire country and we definitely don't need that!

oldman....
yup, i have registered for jinglecross and i have a half dozen other races that i'm planning to do. with the exception of team stoopid's foray into endurance drinking, i mean mountain bike racing last year, it's been a very long time. my last uscf, i mean usac, license was probably in 86 or 87. my new one has a much higher number on it.... lol. we'll see how it goes in the 50+ masters. someone has to bring up the rear :)

Sometimes ya move over and grit your teeth, sometimes ya gotta let it out.

Everyone keeps asking me if I'm cross racing this year. I don't get it; once you get on the bike, why keep getting back off? However, when I got my cx bike, I did pass on one deal because it had UCI illegal disc brakes.

That is great! I don't think you will be spending too much time in the DFL position.
Good luck with the season!

I wish it was 61 here. Its still like a million degrees! (okay so in Tara land one million translates to low 100s!!)

Maybe you guys should carry pig crayons--or whatever those bright orange livestock grease crayons are called--have them taped to the handlebars so if someone doesn't give enough room you can mark them as rude people :-P
Yeah, it'd be kind of hard to handle the crayon while maintaining the line while some dingbat is crowding you :-(
